A brand new holiday program adventure awaits at the end of term 1!

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION is a 3 day holiday program focussed on acting, singing and dance for screen. Participants will be immersed in learning new skills and experiencing what it is like to become a film performer. Each performer will be involved in a film scene and a full music video!

Holiday Program FAQs

How long do the holiday programs run?

3 consecutive days, 9am – 3:30pm.

Free Extended Hours Care from 8am – 5pm.

What happens during the programs?

Every day is filled with theatrical excitement, learning and fun!

Your child will be grouped according to age. Each group rotates around sessions in acting, dance, singing, sport and games & art & craft each day. We also add some special surprises during the sessions!

What’s in the REHEARSAL PACK?

Once your holiday program fee has been paid in full, your child will be sent a film scene script and a song to become familiar with by the first day of the program.

What should be worn?

Everyone feels part of the cast in our fabulous Broadway Uniform:

– Broadway t-shirt (new students receive their shirt free. Additional shirts can be ordered through the office at $35 each. info@broadwayacademy.com.au)

– Black pants, leggings or shorts

– Sneakers (or jazz shoes if you already have them.)

What role will I play?

All cast members for LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION will be have lines in a film scene and will be sining and dancing in the music video clip.

Do I need to make or provide costumes?

Broadway Holiday Programs focus on the process of putting on a show. As they are completed in a very short time period, costuming is kept to a basic level. All cast members will wear their Broadway uniform to perform and will add minimal costume elements to enhance their character (think hats, scarves and props.)
